All Time Playing 11 of PSL

This time PSL is going to be held at the same time with IPL in April and both the leagues are fans favourite from arch rivals India and Pakistan. While on one hand there was auction of players in IPL, on the other hand in PSL also the entire process of auction by draft of teams has been completed and teams of both the leagues are ready to fight for trophy in April, 2025.

The 10th season of PSL will start in the month of April in 2025, for which all the eight teams of PSL have completed all the preparations by taking great players in their teams.

Before this, let’s take a look at all the performances and records and then we will combined all the players in a team from the entire seasons of PSL, which will be called the all-time playing 11 of PSL. Let’s see which players have made it to this all-time playing 11 of PSL.

Openers

1. Fakhar Zaman

Pakistan’s country opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has made a place in this team as one opener, who has 2525 runs in 84 innings and he has shown his capability of hitting runs at very fast pace with 140.27 strike rates in PSL with an average of 30.42 with the help of two centuries and 19 half tons and his high score has been 115 runs against Islamabad United. Fakhar Zaman is on number one of hitting the maximum number of 104 sixes in PSL.

Let us remind you that Fakhar Zaman was the man of the match for Pakistan in the final match of the Champions Trophy 2017. His century completely snatched the match from the grip of India.

2. Shane Watson

To support Fakhar Zaman in all time playing 11 of PSL, Shane Watson has been chosen as the second opener in the all-time playing 11 of PSL. Shane Watson has scored 1361 runs in 46 innings while remaining not out four times. His average has been 32.4 and he has hit 9 fifties with his high score 91 not out.

Apart from this, Shane Watson has also performed strongly in his bowling and has taken 23 wickets in 26 innings of 46 matches. At the same time, he was seen playing an important role in winning the title of Quetta Gladiators and for this performance, he was awarded as the Player of the Tournament in 2019.

Middle Order

3. Babar Azam

Pakistan King Babar Azam is the highest run-scorer in the history of PSL. He also won the title of Man of the Match in the final while playing for Karachi Kings in 2020. He also won the Player of the Tournament in same year.

Apart from this, his records speak for himself to add his name in all time playing 11 of PSL team, so far he has scored 3504 runs in 88 innings of 90 matches while being not out 11 times, in which his high score is 115 runs and his average is 45.5, which is the highest runs in PSL among all who has played atleast 50 matches in PSL

Babar Azam has two centuries in PSL And he is first among those who have scored maximum number of half centuries in PSL history with 33 half centuries registered on his name.

4. Rilee Rossouw

In the middle order, the name of South African player Rilee Rossouw comes who has maintained his excellent record in PSL history. 80 innings of 84 matches, he has scored 2015 runs while remaining not out 17 times, in which his average is 31.98 and strike rate is 142.7.

Apart from this, he has scored two centuries and 10 half centuries which proved him to be an important player of PSL history.

5. Mohammed Rizwan (Wicket-Keeper)

The current captain of Pakistan, wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has been included in this list as a wicketkeeper. He has scored 2403 runs in 83 matches playing only in 72 innings. He has a century on his name with 110 not out, which is also his high score. With 20 half centuries, his average is also 41.43 which is second most after Babar Azam(atleast fifty matches played).

In wicket keeping, Mohammad Rizwan has made 83 dismissals in 80 innings, of which 68 were catches and 15 are stumped.

Mohammad Rizwan also won the Player of the Tournament award in 2022 for his great performances. Whereas in 2021, Mohammad Rizwan also won the PSL Trophy for Multan Sultans.

Allrounders

6. Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik is an important name among the famous T20 players all over the world and he has spread his magic a lot in PSL too. Remaining not out 17 times in 87 innings of 91 matches, Shoaib Malik has 2336 runs in PSL career, in which his high score has been 73, with average of 33.37 and he has also scored 15 half centuries in his special journey of PSL.

Shoaib Malik has also tried his hand in bowling and has taken 17 wickets while bowling in 49 matches, in which his best bowling figure has been 3/16.

7. Kieron Pollard

West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard is included in this list, who is known to play in every league of the world and he has maintained his charm in PSL as well. In 48 innings of 53 matches, he has scored 1149 runs while remaining not out 18 times, in which his average has been 38.3 and his high score has been 73 runs. Apart from this, he has also scored six half centuries.

Pollard also performed brilliantly in bowling and took 13 wickets in 24 innings, in which his best bowling figure was 3/37.

Spinner Allrounder

8. Shadab Khan

Pakistan’s famous all-rounder Shadab Khan has managed to make a place in this list as the main wicket taker spinner. He has taken 91 wickets in 83 innings, in which his best bowling figure is 5/28 runs and his economy is also 7.68 which is very good in faster format of cricket. He has only one 5 wicket-haul on his name.

Talking about Shadab Khan’s batting, he has scored 1240 runs while remaining not out 9 times in 70 innings and his strike rate is 139.32. His high score is 91 runs. Along with this, he has also hit 8 half tons and 66 sixes in his PSL career.

Because of the brilliant captaincy of Shadab Khan, Islamabad United also won the PSL trophy in 2024 and Shadab Khan became the player of the tournament in same year.

Pacers

9. Shaheen Shah Afridi(Captain)

The name of Shaheen Shah Afridi, who won the PSL trophy twice in a row under his captaincy for Lahore Qalandars in 2022 & 2023, is chosen as the captain of all time playing 11 of PSL team.

As a bowler in which Shaheen Afridi took 103 wickets in 71 innings and his best innings figure is 5/4 runs.
Shaheen Afridi, famously known as Eagle, was awarded Man of the Match in final match for playing an important role in Lahore Qalandars winning the PSL trophy in 2023.

10. Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali, who was the Man of the Tournament in Champions Trophy 2017, also left his mark in PSL and he has taken 108 wickets in 81 innings of 82 matches. In this, his best innings figures is 4/15 runs with 8.03 economy rate.

11. Wahab Riaz

Last but not the least, speedster Wahab Riaz has also left a very good impression in his PSL journey. With 113 wickets in 87 innings of 88 matches, he is at the first position among the highest wicket takers in PSL and his best inning figures is also 4/17 and his economy is also 7.79 which is lower than many quality pacers and young guns.

12th Player

12. Kamran Akmal

As the 12th player, we have selected Kamran Akmal in the All Time Playing XI of PSL. His batting and wicket keeping records have been very excellent. Kamran Akmal has scored 1972 runs in 74 innings. At the same time he has the highest number of centuries in PSL, three centuries. And his high score is 107 not out.

Apart from this, Kamran Akmal has also left a mark in PSL with her wicket-keeping. After Mohammad Rizwan he is on second number in the list of highest dismissal with 62 dismissals in which includes 53 are catches and 9 stumps. He was also chosen the Man of the Tournament for Peshawar Zalmi in 2017.
