All Time Playing 11 Of Big Bash League

Sydney Sixers had won the first edition of Big Bash League which started in 2011 and the 14th edition is being played in 2024-25. The final will be played on 27th January and the winner will either be Hobart Hurricanes or Sydney Thunder.

The Perth Scorchers have won the Big Bash League trophy five times so far. The Sydney Sixers have also managed to win the Big Bash League trophy three times. Apart from that, Brisbane Heat are also the defending champions now. Brisbane Heat has won the Big Bash League trophy twice, along with Melbourne Renegates, Adelaide Strikers and Thunder have won the Big Bash League trophy once.

14th editions of Big Bash League is currently going on and we have a look at the matches played till now from the very first season to 14th season with individual performances to create the all time playing 11 of Big Bash League.

1. Chris Lynn

Chris Lynn, famous for his explosive batting style and big hitting power, who is number one in the list of most runs scored by batsmen, has been selected as the opener in the all time playing 11 of the Big Bash League. In his career, Chris Lynn has scored 3955 runs in 125 innings of 127 matches, being not out 16 times, in which his average is 36.28 and strike rate is 149.28. Chris Lynn has scored a century in his Big Bash career and his high score is 101 runs.

Chris Lynn has two more unique records on his name. His name is at the first among the players who have hit the most number of sixes. He has hit 220 sixes in the Big Bash League so far. Apart from this, he has also scored the maximum number of 31 half centuries.

Chris Lynn is two times Player of the Tournament award winner consecutively in 2015-16 & 2016-17 seasons of Big Bash League.

2. Shaun Marsh

To support Chris Lynn as the opening pair, we have placed another Australian great cricketer Shaun Marsh in the opening slot in all time playing 11 of Big Bash League. 3. Aaron Finch (Captain)

Australian T20 World Cup winner Captain Aaron Finch will be seen in the role of top order batsman in this list. After Lynn, Aaron Finch is the second highest run scorer of Big Bash. He has scored 3311 runs in 105 innings, in which his average was 34.48. He has scored two centuries and 26 half centuries while his high score is 111 not out.

Although Aaron Finch’s favorite position is opening, he is often seen holding the bat even after one wicket down, hence he has been placed at number three in the all time playing 11 off Big Bash team.

Aaron Finch is the Big Bash trophy winner in 2018-19 season when Melbourne Renegades beat the Melbourne Stars with a close margin of 13 runs only. He was also chosen as Player of the Tournament in 2012–13 season of Big Bash League.

4. D’Arcy Short

D’Arcy Short is another Australian opener batsman who could not fit in the opening slot, hence he has been kept at his second best position on two wickets down. 7. Josh Phillipe (Wicket-keeper)

Josh Phillipe has been chosen as the pure wicketkeeper batsman in all time playing 11 of Big bash league. He has shown his wicket keeping prowess with 99 dismissals in 98 innings, including 85 catches and 14 stumps. Josh Phillipe has scored 2453 runs in 98 innings in which his high score is 99* and he has also scored 17 half tons.

Wicket keeper specialist and other players like James Pierson, Jos Englis, Sam Harper and Alex Carey were in the competition but he is at the first position in dismissals in the entire Big Bash League, hence he was selected in this team on the basis of his batting and wicket keeping charisma.

Glenn Maxwell has scored 3241 runs while remaining not out 21 times in 113 innings of 118 matches, his strike rate is 155.36 which is the fastest strike rate among all the players, along with this his average is 35.22 and he has also scored two centuries and 21 half centuries in the Big Bash League.

Glenn Maxwell has also been very economical with his bowling, taking 45 wickets while bowling in 86 innings.
Glenn Maxwell has two unbeaten records on his name in the entire history of Big Bash which no one has been able to match till now. Maxwell’s high score is 154 not out which is the highest score in the entire league. Secondly, his strike rate is 155.36 which is the highest strike rate in the entire Big Bash League.

6. Marcus Stoinis

Medium-pace batting allrounder Marcus Stoinis has his impact throughout the whole Big Bash League and he is also part of all time playing 11 of Big Bash League. Marcus Stoinis scored 2977 runs in 108 innings while remaining not out 18 times. His high score 147* out with an average is 33.07 and this is the only century he has scored, along with19 half-centuries.

Marcus Stoinis has given seasonal performances in 2019-20 season of Big Bash League. He was chosen as Player of the Tournament of Big Bash League for those fantastic performances.

8. Daniel Christian

Cricketer Daniel Christian, who is known for bringing the team out of difficult times, has scored 2121 runs in 127 innings in which his high score has been 75 not out, while he has shown his all-rounder performances and took 94 wickets in 115 innings. 9. Sean Abbott

11. Jason Behrendorff

Jason Behrendorff took 140 wickets in 105 innings of 106 matches, while he has not succeeded in taking five wickets even once, but his economy rate is 7.02 and his average is also 19.31, which shows his excellent bowling in powerplay and death overs.

12. Matthew Wade

Matthew Wade has been selected as the 12th man in all time playing 11 of Big Bash League because his performance in both batting and wicket-keeping is very good. He scored 2785 runs in 103 innings of 107 matches in which he scored 130* is the only century. He has also scored 19 half centuries and his strike rate is 140.37.

Along with this, he has also shown excellence in wicket-keeping and has made 63 dismissals in 91 innings, which includes 55 catches and 8 stumps behind the wicket.
